Relax in beautiful South Devon
Rowden Barn is a grade 2 listed, recently refurbished two bedroom detached building forming part of a small complex of converted farm buildings. It is located high in beautiful South Devon farmland and surrounded by unspoilt countryside.
The South West coast path is less than 10 minutes' walk from the Barn, providing stunning cliff walks that lead down to quiet beaches and wide estuaries.
The closest villages are Newton Ferrers, Noss Mayo and Holbeton. Noss Mayo and Newton Ferrers are just over a mile away, located on each side of the River Yealm and sheltered by high wooded hillsides. They are popular with yachting folk, and there are several excellent pubs also serving good food (and welcoming dogs).
The Barn sleeps four comfortably and is set in the landscaped private gardens of Rowden Court, with views overlooking the open fields. The gardens contain seating areas, a barbeque with picnic tables and a tennis court. Other amenties include a games room with table tennis and a laundry room. The Barn itself has wifi, a TV and DVD player, and speakers with an Iphone/Ipod dock. There is ample car parking right next to the Barn.
The Barn entrance hall, lounge with woodburner and open plan kitchen area are on the first floor. The two double bedroooms and bathroom are reached by stairs down to the ground floor.
